Welcome to Calm Mind Counselling. I’m a qualified Integrative Counsellor offering compassionate, effective support for a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties. While I specialise in Anxiety, OCD and PTSD, I also work with all counselling issues; including stress, low mood, self‑esteem, life transitions and family challenges.
I provide therapy for adults, children and young people, as well as couples counselling to help partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust and navigate difficulties together. My approach is warm, structured and tailored to your needs, offering a safe space to explore what’s happening and begin moving forward with clarity and confidence.

I understand how deeply mental health difficulties can affect everyday life, and how overwhelming it can feel when you’re trying to cope on your own. As a committed Counsellor, I’m passionate about helping people make sense of their experiences and move toward a calmer, more confident future.
My work centres on supporting clients to gain a clearer understanding of themselves, identify what they want from life, and develop practical ways to manage the challenges causing distress, anxiety or stress. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative and empowering a space where you can explore, grow and begin to feel more in control again.

Want to see long‑lasting change in your life? I offer in‑person sessions as well as remote online therapy, giving you flexibility to choose what feels most comfortable. I also offer longer, single focused sessions for clients who want to explore a particular issue in depth and make meaningful progress in one concentrated block of time.
As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of therapeutic models so your sessions are shaped around what works best for you. My work is fully personalised to your unique needs, whether you prefer a gentle exploratory pace or a more structured, goal‑focused approach.

I have extensive experience supporting adults and children who struggle with OCD, anxiety and complex PTSD, as well as those navigating difficult or unhealthy relationships past or present.

When working with adults, I combine counselling, CBT and exposure therapy to help you understand the roots of your anxiety, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and gradually face situations your mind has learned to fear. This structured, evidence‑based approach helps you reduce avoidance, build confidence and regain control over your life.
When working with children, I use play‑based and creative strategies to help them explore anxiety safely and express emotions in ways that feel natural and engaging. Through drawing, storytelling, imaginative play and sensory activities, children learn to understand their feelings, build resilience and develop coping skills in a gentle, age‑appropriate way.

I also offer Rewind Therapy for trauma, a highly effective, non‑intrusive method used to relieve PTSD symptoms and stop distressing flashbacks. Rewind allows you to process traumatic memories without needing to talk about them in detail, making it particularly helpful for clients who find traditional trauma work overwhelming. Many people experience significant and lasting relief, often feeling calmer, safer and more in control after just a few sessions.
My approach is unique. I don’t believe in simply placing a plaster over the wound by focusing only on symptom management. I give you the time and space to make sense of your life experiences so healing can happen from within. When deeper wounds are understood and processed, the tools and techniques you learn become far more effective and long‑lasting.

In addition to 1:1 consultations, I also host workshops and seminars for people who want to deepen their understanding of mental health and learn practical strategies for everyday wellbeing.
